Join us for Audie Murphy Days, June 27-28 The Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the history of the American cotton industry, as well as the history of Hunt County, Texas and the northern Texas Blackland Prairie. Located in historic Greenville, Texas on ten acres of Texas Blacklands, the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum physical plant includes the Ende-Gaillard House, the oldest house in Greenville, a working cotton patch, picnic areas, and native grass and herb gardens.
Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum welcomes individual tours, scholastic tours, and group tours. Tours for individuals are self-guided, but groups ten or larger may call ahead at least six weeks for a guided tour with a docent. No guided tours are provided without reservations. The Ende-Gaillard House is open by appointment and weather permitting.
